Washing rice has always been a pain but this bowl makes it so easy. It is very lightweight and perfectly designed. I am uncertain if it can go through the dishwasher (I know it says stainless steel but I think it may still come out varnished).

This is the most ingenious design, great quality, and works so well! I frequently cook many varieties of lentils and rice some of which are quite small, like beluga lentils and basmati rice. Trying to wrangle a strainer and bowl was annoying and constantly trying to pick bits out from under the strainer rim was driving me crazy. Being able to wash, soak, and strain all in the same bowl is SO nice, and I feel like I can get the food cleaner with less water and way less fuss. The holes are nice and small and I rarely have anything catch. It’s a great size and also handy to use as an extra bowl when I chopping veggies. The thickness is nice and it feels sturdy. Everyone should have one of these!
